This is a history tour designed for the whole family. You will get all the details of conquests and river crossings, made interesting with plenty of stories. There will be something for young and old alike and the tour is led by a lady in traditional Welsh costume - tall black hat and all! We see all the main attractions in Conwy (Conwy Castle, Plas Mawr Elizabethan town house, the Church of St Mary & All Saints the bridges,Town Walls, the quayside and, of course, the Smallest House in Britain,
You'll hear all about the town's rich history and past and present inhabitants - real and ghostly alike. Your guide is not only a qualified Official Wales guide but also is a resident of Conwy so you'll get a real insight into what it is like living in the town today as well as in the past. Also provided is a receiver so you can remain apart from others and not miss a word of the guide's commentary. Under fives and dogs are allowed on this tour but they must not disrupt other clients' enjoyment. Children get a quiz and adults a town map. We also make sure to point out the best places to eat and shop and things to do if you are staying in the area.
